1. Overview

Ringo Learning Co, LLC ("Ringo Learning," "we," "us," and "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through compliance with this Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect Personal Information when you visit our website, use our services, interact with us electronically, or otherwise communicate with us. California's child-care licensing materials also emphasize that licensed child care centers operate in a regulated environment focused on health, safety, and family communications, which makes clear privacy notice and record-handling practices especially important.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using our website or services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and the "Last Updated" date reflects the latest revision.

We collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of our website or services, from devices or systems used in connection with our services, and from third parties such as service providers, payment processors, communication platforms, or enrollment partners. California consumers have the right to know the categories of personal information collected and the purposes for which it is used.

4. How We Share Information

We may share Personal Information with:

  • Service providers that help us operate our business, such as hosting, payment processing, communications, analytics, and IT support.

  • Professional advisers, auditors, accountants, insurers, and legal counsel.

  • Government agencies, regulators, licensing authorities, or law enforcement where required or permitted by law.

We do not sell Personal Information for money. Mobile phone numbers and text messaging consent are subject to additional restrictions described in Section 5, including our commitment not to share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. SMS / Text Message Program

Program description. Ringo Learning Co, LLC operates the text message program for Aldea Infant Care & Preschool. We use SMS to send transactional and operational messages related to your family's interest in, or enrollment at, our center — including tour confirmations and reminders, scheduling changes, enrollment and paperwork follow-up, billing and payment notices, and time-sensitive center announcements such as closures, illness exposure notices, or emergencies.

How you opt in. You may consent to receive text messages from us by:

  • checking the SMS consent box when you submit a tour request or contact form on our website;

  • providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages during a conversation with our website chat assistant; or

  • providing your mobile number and giving consent in person at our center, including at a tour, enrollment appointment, or community event.

We send text messages only to mobile numbers for which we have received consent through one of the methods above. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment or of purchasing any service.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and your family's enrollment status. We do not send recurring marketing or promotional text message campaigns under this program.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Any such charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider.

How to opt out. You may cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which we will not send you further text messages unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by contacting us using the information in Section 16.

How to get help. Reply HELP to any message from us, or contact us at hello@aldea.kids or (661) 777-5437.

Delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on effective transmission by your mobile service provider and is outside our control.

No sharing of mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate our website, remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve user experience. 7. Children's Information

We may collect information about children only when provided by a parent, legal guardian, authorized representative, or as otherwise permitted by law and necessary for enrollment, care, safety, billing, or program administration. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information directly from children through an online service without appropriate parental or guardian involvement where required by law. If we learn that we have collected information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly if you believe your information has been compromised.

9. Data Retention

We retain Personal Information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, meet legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records. Retention periods may vary depending on the category of data, the sensitivity of the information, legal requirements, and operational needs.
