What support can include
Thanksgiving
A Walmart or WinCo grocery gift card, your choice.
December gifts
Gifts for your kids under 20, brothers and sisters included, handed to you unwrapped. For each child, share a few wishes, choose a Walmart, WinCo, Fastrip or Amazon gift card, or mix both.
Wrapping supplies
If you'd like them. Ask for Thanksgiving, December, or both.
Who can ask
Any family with a child at Aldea.
You don't need to explain why, show any paperwork, or meet any requirement. Families ask for all kinds of reasons, and plenty of families who ask also help others.
What happens next
No income questions, no paperwork, and no children's names.
- Ask.Your name, how to reach you, what would help, and how many people and kids are in your household.
- We'll confirm we got itwithin 2 business days. That isn't a yes or no yet.
- You'll hear back between Nov 18 and 23.We'll tell you clearly what we can do.
- If we can help,we'll privately ask your store choice and your kids' gift preferences.
- An easy handoff.A digital card, a private pickup time, or another arrangement that works for you.
Who will know
Only Aldea's 3-person Holiday team will know you asked.
- Teachers, other team members, other families and givers won't be told.
- Givers see only an anonymous item and a code, never names, ages, classrooms or family details.
- We won't use your request for anything else, or look at billing records.
- We'll delete your information by Dec 31, 2026.
About technology: the form and our records are stored in Aldea's Google account, so Google stores that information.
If we can't cover everything
We won't go by who asked first. Everyone who asks by Nov 23 is treated the same.
Aldea is starting with a $1,500 gift and will expand as needs come up, and we're hoping our community adds more. If more families ask than we can fully help, we'll tell you honestly what we can do. Sometimes that may be part of what you asked for, or a spot on a list for December help as more gifts come in.
Questions
Will my child know?
Only if you tell them. Gifts come to you unwrapped, and we keep them out of children's sight at school.
Will my child's teacher know?
No. Teachers aren't told who asked.
What if I've never asked for help before?
You're welcome here. There's no wrong reason to ask.
Can I ask for just one holiday?
Yes. Choose Thanksgiving, December, or both.
Do brothers and sisters count?
Yes. Include all the kids under 20 in your household, not just those at Aldea.
What will givers see about my kids' wishes?
Only the item and size, with a code. If you'd rather not share specific wishes, you can choose a store gift card for any child.
What if my plans change?
Reach Ms. Amy at 661-777-5437 or amy@aldea.kids anytime. You can change or withdraw your request with no explanation.
I missed the deadline.
Please reach out anyway. We'll let you know honestly whether we can still help.
Does asking affect anything else at Aldea?
No. It has nothing to do with enrollment, billing, or how your child is treated.
Can I help other families too?
Absolutely, and no one will connect the two.
